Many of the hospitals forced to close under the Trump administration are reopening. Trump’s healthcare budget cuts and policies that criminalized reproductive healthcare had forced hundreds of hospitals to close. The Hawke administration is moving quickly to restore funding and to reverse healthcare restrictions that Health Secretary Thomas McKinney described as barbaric.

“We’re returning to sanity,” McKinney said. “We are throwing out healthcare policies designed to increase political support for the corrupt and to make the rich richer. Our healthcare policies will be designed to provide appropriate healthcare to all Americans.”
